The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Economics and Management awarded by the University of London combines an in-depth study of economics with management subjects that will enable you to look analytically and critically at management issues. It provides an understanding of a range of issues in international management and offers an excellent preparation for a career in management consultancy, accountancy, banking and general management.

To complete the Bachelor Degree in Economics and Management you must pass the courses listed below:

First Year:

• Introduction to Business and Management

• Mathematics (half unit)

• Statistics (half unit)

• Principles of Accounting

• Principles of Sociology

Second Year:

• Introduction to Economics

• Human Resource Management

• Financial Management

• Organisation Theory: An Interdisciplinary Approach

Third Year:

• Micro Economics/Managerial Economics

• Macro Economics

• International Political Economy

• Management: International and Comparative Perspectives

Students at attend classes 12 hours per week, if studying four courses.

Examinations are held once a year in May/June. External students’ examinations are assessed by academics from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) to the same standard as the students at LSE in London.
