The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in
International Relations awarded by the University
of London provides a framework to think critically
about world politics from various viewpoints. You will
study the causes of war and the conditions of peace.
But you will also look at a number of key issues in
the contemporary world including problems such as
environmental degradation, terrorism, the globalising
of the economy, nationalism and human rights.
This Degree programme is ideal if you wish to
pursue a career with international organisations, the
business world, journalism or the foreign service of
your country.
To complete the Bachelor

Students at
attend classes 12 hours per week, if studying four
courses.
Examinations are held once a year in May/June.
External students’ examinations are assessed by
academics from the London School of Economics &
Political Science (LSE) to the same standard as the
students at LSE in London.
