International Certificate in Business is a one
semester programme. It is for you, if:

You intend to start on an undergraduate business
education and wish to make sure when you start that
you are equipped with the necessary skills to
succeed at university (in the British higher
education system);
or

You intend to find a job in business and need to learn
fundamental concepts of business transferable to the
work place.
Course structure
The Programme is classroom-based and studied over
one 15-week semester (12 teaching weeks). Students
must pass all five modules to be awarded the MBC
International Certificate in Business (ICB).
The programme consists of the following modules:

Introduction to Business

Introduction to Accounting and Finance
-
Study and Communication Skills
-
Introduction to Quantitative Methods
-
Business Project or Business Case Study
In addition to time spent in the classroom (120 hours
in total), you are expected to undertake homework
and independent study.
Assessment
You will be assessed through course work, class
participation and end of programme examinations. The
purpose of grading is to reflect the level of your
achievement.
Admission requirements
Formal qualifications are not required for entry to
the ICB programme. You should, however, be able to
demonstrate that you have previously studied English
at secondary school. A minimum English language
level of IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) is required. In
addition you should write a letter explaining why
you are interested in the ICB programme.
